"Cut and Run" is the second episode of Season 1 of the animated television series Star Wars: The Bad Batch. It aired on May 7, 2021.

Use of Aurebesh

City signage

A big purple neon sign in Saleucami town says "OFFWORLD TRAVEL"[1] in an alternative Aurebesh font named Domabesh, developed for the 2016 film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.[2]

The big green neon sign next to it says "ILIAEN"[1] in an alternate Aurebesh font that was given the production name Dishabesh, which was also developed for Rogue One.[3]

Chain code checkpoint

The Aurebesh writing at the chain code checkpoint says "IMPERIAL INFORMATIONAL STATION".[4]

Chain code disks

The chain code disk that Tech picks up says in Aurebesh, "AWAITING CARD" (note that the disc is upside-down).

Chain code coding

When Tech is programming the blank chain code disks, two monitors, one orange and one blue, show Aurebesh writing. However, the orange one merely produces gibberish, while the blue one is not legible.

Tech's helmet

Tech's helmet is emblazoned with a skull sitting between two Rs, one of which is upside-down.

Unseen Aurebesh

A concept art image included in the Concept Art Gallery for "Cut and Run" on StarWars.com contains various unseen Aurebesh signage for Saleucami town: "FARMING SUPPLIES" (in Dishabesh), "OUTLAND SUPPLIES" and "SALEUCAMI'S BEST" : "WE BUY SELL & TRADE!!"[1]
