"Duel of the Droids" is the seventh episode of Season One of the animated television series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. It aired on November 14, 2008.
Use of Aurebesh
Skytop Station shields
When the Separatist battlesphere's deflector shield is lowered, the holographic readout, which is seen from behind and is therefore mirrored, includes the text "ORESET [sic] INTERFACE" (barely readable), "ZOOM IN ROTATE", "JEDICRUISER [sic] WEAPONS INVENTORY", "BRIDGE LAYOUT" and (the following is barely readable):
WITH SHIELDS DOWN,
THE CRUISER WASNO [sic] MATCH
FOR THE DESTRUCTIVE
POWER UNLEASHED BY
A CONCEALED
TURBOLASER TURRET
INTHE THE [sic] HANGAR BAY
WITH ITS SHIELDS DOWN,
THE CRUISER WANSNO [sic] MATCH
FOR THE DESTRUCTIVE
POWER UNLEASHED BY
A CONCEALED
TURBOLASER TURRET
INTHE THE [sic] HANGAR BAY
When Gha Nachkt and R2-D2 walk by, the display includes the text "EQUATOR GUNS POSITIONS" and "THRUST POSTERS LEVELS". The rest of the text is unreadable.
Twilight display
When Captain Rex discovers the Separatist battlesphere, the data display aboard the Twilight reads "ZOOM IN" and "SKYTOP STATION". The rest of the text is gibberish.
R2-D2's memory banks
Gha Nachkt accesses R2-D2's memory bank and finds that the little droid contains every Republic strategy. Although the holographic displays are replete with Aurebesh characters, the text ultimately amounts to mere gibberish.[1]
