"Shadow of Malevolence" is the third episode of Season One of the animated television series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. It aired on October 10, 2008.

Republic gunships

Two Republic gunships appear in the Resolute's hangar bay during Anakin's briefing of Shadow Squadron:

The Crumb Bomber has nose art that features a Kowakian monkey-lizard wielding a bomb, with the inscription "LAUGH THIS OFF".

Another ship has nose art of a feminine Twi'lek in clone trooper armor, with the ship's name, "LUCKY LEKKU", written in Aurebesh in a casual, handwritten style.

Note that in this episode, the opposite side of both gunships is seen, and for some reason, both the motifs and the text are mirror-inverted. The Lucky Lekku can be seen from a different side in the film Star Wars: The Clone Wars, where the text is perfectly readable and not mirror-inverted. As for the Crumb Bomber, the correct version appears in the episode "Rookies."

Malevolence navicomputer

When the Malevolence is traveling through hyperspace, the Aurebesh text on the navicomputer monitor includes the name "REPUBLIC MEDICAL STATION". Note that the text is almost illegible and you may need a good television to decipher it. The remainder of the text is simply too tiny to read.

Y-wing monitor

As the Malevolence comes out of hyperspace, minuscule red text on the monitor of Matchstick's BTL-B Y-wing says "UNIDENTIFIED", "HYPERSPACE", "AMMONITION" [sic] and "FUEL".
