"Spoils of War" is the first episode of Season 2 of the animated television series Star Wars: The Bad Batch. It aired on January 4, 2023, along with the second episode.
Use of Aurebesh
Omega's datapad
Omega is trying to learn every starship in the Imperial fleet. When Clone Force 99 is at the tropical island at the beginning of the episode, her datapad contains Aurebesh text, but the writing is way too small to decipher properly.
Later, at Cid's Parlor, when Hunter continues a ship recognition lesson with Omega, the datapad says:
LAMBDA-CLASS SHUTTLE
A MULTI-PURPOSE TRANSPORT, THE
LAMBDA-CLASS SHUTTLE IS EQUIPPED WITH
A HYPERDRIVE
ARMED WITH ONE
REAR DOUBLE LASER
CANNON, TWO FRONT
WING-MOUNTED
DOUBLE CANNONS
Cid's Parlor games
There is a slot machine at Cid's Parlor, called "LUCKY SHOT". The motifs seen on the monitor are heads of B1 battle droids; fittingly enough, "CLANKER BONUS" is written above it ("clanker" is a popular nickname for B1 battle droids).
Another machine is called "CREDIT CRAZE".
A third slot machine says "CREDIT PUSHER".
A Video Sabacc game is seen at the counter, but we only see the last five letters, "[obscured]ABACC". The options "STAND", "DRAW", "BET" and "CALL" appear on the right hand side of the monitor, upside-down.
Cid's Parlor beverages
The alcoholic beverages behind the counter at Cid's Parlor include bottles of Whyren's Reserve, which are decorated with the Aurebesh letter A; and Thermal Detonator, although we only see the "DETONATOR" part. We also see the letter M in Mooften.
Other bottles are also seen, but the labels are not decipherable.
Castle monitors
A monitor in Castle Serenno seems to contain Aurebesh text, but it is too small to decipher.
The first readout on the lift panel that Hunter activates in Dooku's castle, says "PERSONNEL", "UTILITIES", "COMMUNICATIONS", "SECURITY", "SYSTEMS" and "DEFENSE". The second readout says "TUBOLIFT" [sic], "LEVEL 36", "LEVEL 35", "LEVEL 34", "LEVEL 33", "LEVEL 32", "[obscured] 31" and "LEVEL 35" (again).
Hunter's helmet
When Hunter is working on the lift panel, the Aurebesh letter H is printed on the back of his helmet.
Tech's datapad
The datapad that Tech uses to initiate the cargo release says "RELEASE AUTHORIZED".
