Star Wars: The Clone Wars is a 2008 animated feature film directed by Dave Filoni and written by Henry Gilroy, Scott Murphy and Steven Melching. It is the first Star Wars animated film and the only animated film to be released in theaters.

Use of Aurebesh

Republic gunships

One of the Republic gunships that bring the clones to Teth has nose art of a blue-skinned Twi'lek in clone trooper armor, with the ship's name, "LUCKY LEKKU", written in Aurebesh.[1] The text is notable for its casual, handwritten style.

The Crumb Bomber, a gunship in the hangar bay of the star destroyer that Obi-Wan Kenobi lands on after returning from Tatooine, has nose art that features a Kowakian monkey-lizard wielding a bomb, with the inscription "LAUGH THIS OFF".[1] Note that in this film, a different side of the ship is seen and both the motif and the text is mirror-inverted; in addition, the ship is only seen from far away and the inscription is mostly unreadable. The ship reappears in the episode "Rookies," where it is seen from the opposite side and the inscription is seen clearly and is not mirror-inverted.

A gunship aboard the hangar of the Defiant (the assault ship that brings Anakin and Ahsoka to Teth), shows a green Twi'lek in a seductive pose, with the inscription "SPACEWARD HO!" Note that in this film, both the motif and the text are reversed like a mirror; in addition, the ship is only seen from far away and several characters are unreadable. The gunship is seen again in "Landing at Point Rain," where the text is perfectly readable, and the motif is not mirrored.

Twilight medicine cupboard

The text on the medicine cupboards in the Twilight reads "MEDICAL". The text inside the lid of the cupboard that Ahsoka opens, also reads medical, in upside-down, mirror-inverted characters.

Twilight console display

When the Twilight is approaching Tatooine, the console display says "TWILI[obscured]".

Ziro's club

The marquee seen outside Ziro's club, best seen in the opening shot of the scene where Padmé visits the club at night, read "ZIRO'S PALACE".

A big sign outside the club, written in upside-down, mirror-inverted Aurebesh, says "ZIRO'S PALACE" • "FOR THE BEST NIGHTLIFE IN CORUSCANT", and is emblazoned with a Z for Ziro in the corner.

In the opening shot of the daylight scene where a captured Padmé is brought before Ziro, an additional sign at the top right-hand corner of the screen says "ZIRO' W[obscured]".

Two vertical billboards outside the club (easiest to decipher in the opening shot of the daylight scene where a captured Padmé is brought before Ziro) read "WWW. STARWARS. COM".[2]
