"The Return" is the fifth episode of Season 3 of the animated television series Star Wars: The Bad Batch. It aired on March 6, 2024.

Ah, it's working. Look at this manifest. There are even more clone prisoners on Tantiss than we thought.

AZI-3

The left side of AZI-3's head is labeled "1L", while the right side carries the same inscription, but mirror-inverted.

Depot computer

Omega finds a computer terminal in the Imperial depot and powers it on. The screen comes to life, displaying the word "INITIATING" as the terminal boots up.

As Omega shuts down the sensors and redirects power to the main building, the word "POWER" appears in the bottom right corner of the computer monitor.

As the data transfer continues, the monitor displays the following text in three separate shots:

SYSTEM COMMAND
INITIALIZATION SUCCESS
STATUS RUNNING

Nala Se's datapad

Omega: Any schematics on there?
Echo: None that I'm seeing. Just medical records. I think this is all we're gonna get.


Examining Nala Se's datapad, Echo learns that more clone troopers are being held at Mount Tantiss than they thought. He also finds medical records of clone prisoners. However, the Aurebesh text scrolling up the datapad is just a jumbled mess of random letters and numbers. The bottom of the screen, however, says "INVENTORY LOG".
