"Way, Way Out Past the Barrier" is the second episode of the live action series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. It aired on December 2, 2024, alongside the premiere episode, "This Could Be a Real Adventure."
Use of Aurebesh
Fern's jacket
Fern's jacket is adorned with a badge featuring a multi-colored Aurebesh A. Another badge is upside-down and shows the letter A with smaller versions of the characters A, D and K around it. She additionally sports a patch that features what could potentially be a stylized letter S in Aurebesh.
Wim's school uniform
Wim stills wears his school uniform featuring an Aurebesh badge reading "AT ATTIN MIDDLE SCHOOL GAMMA". The top of the badge ("AT ATTIN") is clearly seen in the shot of Wim right before the delighted Teek hurries away after after receiving payment, while the bottom (MIDDLE SCHOOL GAMMA") is best seen when Wim puts his hands up in surrender as the kids are cornered by the pirates; however, even then, most of the characters at the bottom are indecipherable.
Cockpit monitor
Following Fern's command for SM-33 to take them to the starport, the droid conducts the required calculations on the cockpit monitor, which is filled with Aurebesh characters, featuring the phrases "TERMINAL DF" and "SETDATA" [sic]; however, the latter is only legible if you pause the image at the right moment. The rest of the text is unreadable.
Starport signage
A sign at Port Borgo is crafted in an alternative Aurebesh script nicknamed Dishabesh, and reads "DANCE CLUB". The sign also features red graffiti that includes various random scribbles along with the number 5 inscribed three times in Outer Rim Basic.
Pirate's headgear
The cyborg headgear donned by the pirate Gunter features the inscription "CRIS" on its side, albeit with the letters appearing in a mirrored format.
